Center City Emergency Dentist is a dentist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 1429 Walnut St 6th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19102, which places it among the local businesses of Philadelphia that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Center City Emergency Dentist at (215) 223-5555; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is centercityemergencydentists.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 3,177 reviews, which is a strong result for a dentist in Philadelphia and suggests consistent service.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Was just quoted $15,000 for 4 wisdom teeth extraction that are fully grown in and straight… I must have forgot to wash off SUCKER from my forehead because what in the hell is even that are yall ok? I was so insulted I walked out but the front desk was incredibly kind and hospitable and all the providers I spoke to were super sweet. Office is gorgeous I see how you can afford such nice decor!

First I wanna say that I am grateful for the human experience I received from the lower staff. But the moment the Doctor walked in, it started to feel predatory. I walked in with a SEVERE toothache. Forget trying to get me set up to remove that tooth. He was more interested in doing all four wisdom teeth and doing an implant. I mean, I appreciated his concern but I know he wasn’t genuinely concerned. No doctor with a heart would have allowed any patient to walk out without extracting that wisdom tooth that was causing severe pain. On top of that he prescribed Ibuprofen and antibiotics without even coming to speak with me on the path forward. It cost 500+ out of pocket to extract one tooth and 1100+ to extract all four. Mind you, the antibiotics and 800mg!!!Ibuprofen isn’t working because the pain is so severe and I am not about to deteriorate my health with these prescription drugs. The whole experience just felt like a I’m buying a car instead of being offered care. I appreciated the warmth of the young ladies and the modern radiation equipment but overall, I guess it’s a place for the GenX and Z millionaires that live in the city, unfortunately I am not in the bracket, yet. Dr.Carlos is an amazing dentist with the best bedside manners. He made me feel so comfortable during my surgery, and im looking forward to fixing my smile with him. Out of all the dentists I have been to, Dr.Carlos is the one that is always available for his patients, and treats you with genuine kindness. Also, Amy at the front desk, is such a sweetheart. I was a nervous wreck, and she calmed me down.

Dr. Tummillo is THE BEST dentist!!!! I’ve had several procedures done by him within last 6 months for a complicated tooth and he’s ALWAYS been so kind, gentle, professional, quick but thorough, and patient with all my questions. You can tell he’s very experienced, you don’t feel a single thing when he’s doing procedures! My tooth is all fixed now and I’m soo extremely happy with the results (especially cuz it’s a front tooth). It’s been a long process with this tooth but he’s been so amazing! I even sent my husband to him for his root canal and he said the same thing. Would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him! Thanks Dr. Tummillo!

I had a great first experience at CCED when I needed care on short notice and couldn’t go to my regular dentist. It was easy to make an appointment, the facility was very nice and super clean, and all of the staff were really friendly and helpful. I was seen right on time and they were able to fix my issue quickly — and at a cost much lower than I expected (with insurance, YMMV). I’ll definitely keep them on hand for any last-minute dental needs!
